you me gallery and susan evans shaw present: Gagged Man, Summer Shadows Summer Dreams, & other works on paper by GEORGE WALLACE exhibition and sale Feb 13 – Mar 8, 2015 George Wallace (1920-2009) was an artist and professor of art at McMaster University (1960-85). His steel, life-sized figurative sculptures can be seen at McMaster, Mohawk College and other public spaces in this region and beyond. Several years ago a selection of his works on paper were purchased by The National Gallery of Canada. This exhibition coincides with the installation of the welded steel “Benevolent Angel” (donated by Jane Irwin and Richard Bachmann) at Burlington Central Library.
